I'm thrilled to announce that The Briar Patch now has copies of Hallowed Deadly Seeds available. Brian and I stopped in last Saturday so that I could sign the copies they had. They also have Little White Flowers available, and it was fun spying a copy in a stack of horror books, sandwiched between Adam Neville and Rachel Harrison.

It never ceases to delight me to see my books at one of my childhood bookstores. A huge thank you to the Briar Patch for carrying Little White Flowers and Hallowed Deadly Seeds! Be sure to check them out the next time you're in the Bangor area. It really is a wonderful bookstore, and you're bound to find something you'll love.

On a side note, if you've already read Hallowed Deadly Seeds, you may know that wheat pennies make an appearance in the story. (The wheat penny anecdote is actually based on something my sister and I did when we were kids.) In the story, one character gives another a 1939 wheat penny. In the most incredible coincidence, when I bought a book at The Briar Patch on Saturday, I received a 1939 wheat penny in change. Pennies also play a small but meaningful role in the final book in the series (coming June 2027), and that adds another layer of meaning to this find. This is actually the second wheat penny experience I've had this year connected to my books and The Briar Patch. I'll have to tell you the full story of both of these experiences once Book 3 is available.
