The Indie Ink Awards recognize outstanding independent and small press books. The awards are now open for voting, and Little White Flowers has been nominated for five awards! They are:Â
*Best Book Cover and Cover Artist
*Best Setting
*Writing the Future We Need: Asexual or Aromantic Representation
*Writing the Future We Need: Mental Health Representation
*Writing the Future We Need: Neurodivergent Representation by a Neurodivergent AuthorÂ
It is a huge honor to be nominated, and especially in these categories. I feel like this really gets at the heart of what makes Little White Flowers so meaningful to me, and I'm glad to see that others have recognized this as well.Â
Voting starts today, December 15th. I'd love it if you would consider voting for Little White Flowers in any or all of these categories. Even if you haven't had a chance to read the book yet, there's always best cover. I think we all can agree that Eva Mout and Rachel Bowdler did an amazing job with the cover, and I'd love to see them get the recognition they deserve.
Here's the voting link. The information about voting and book eligibility is at the top of the page, and if you scroll down, there are links for each of the awards categories below. You click on each category individually to vote, so if there are categories where you don't know any of the books, you can skip them. You do have to create an account with Indie Story Geek to vote, but the required information is pretty minimal. You also don't have to have an account to view them, so if you just want to see what books are in the running and maybe find some books for your TBR, you can use the voting link for that as well.
