The Bangor Authors' Book Fair and Literary Festival took place on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at the Bangor Public Library, and it was a blast! Thank you so much to everyone who made it possible and to everyone who attended!
After a brief setup, my day kicked off with the Writing for Mental Health panel. Emma G. Rose, Morrigan Gaines, and I spoke about our experiences with our own mental health and with writing mental illness while Keith Young moderated. I feel like we had a wonderful discussion, and it was great having the chance to share our experiences and insights with such a receptive audience. Thank you to my mother-in-law, Elizabeth Orr, for the panel photos.
After the panel, it was back to the table for a few minutes before it was time for my live reading. I read an excerpt from the prologue of Little White Flowers. It was a great experience, a great audience, and I really appreciate how smoothly and efficiently everything ran.Â
After the reading, I tabled for the rest of the day. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my table. We had some great conversations, and it was so fun getting to meet people and sign books.Â
The Briar Patch also was selling Little White Flowers, and they picked up a couple copies to carry in store. I'm not sure how long processing takes, but it should hopefully be in their inventory soon. So if you want a signed copy of Little White Flowers but couldn't make it to the Authors' Fair, keep an eye out at The Briar Patch.Â
