Dirigo Pines Author Talk

A huge thank you to Dirigo Pines for hosting me for an author talk and to Anne Porter for coordinating the event! It was great having such a receptive audience, and what a discussion! We covered so much ground, and it was fun getting to pull from various facets of my background. It was also incredible hearing from one of the audience members that they stayed up late reading my books and couldn't put them down. That's one of the highest compliments I could receive as an author.

I didn't manage to get many pictures (Brian usually takes the photos for me, but he was running my slideshow), but the one photo I did get has a neat story. Even though this wasn't intended to be a mathy talk, there happened to be a number of current and former members of the UMaine Mathematics and Physics Departments at the talk. At the end of the event, we got a few photos with the math folks for the Math Department newsletter, and then we got a math and physics photo (sans Brian, who took the photo).
