Repurposed Dollar Tree Rose Cloche

As part of their Halloween decor this year, Dollar Tree is offering beautiful, light-up cloches, each with a black or crimson rose. The first time I saw these, I was immediately drawn to them because they would make great tabletop or bookshelf decor. I ultimately passed on them initially because they didn't have a white rose variant. However, I later realized that it probably wouldn't be too difficult to swap out one of the other roses for a white rose.

When I went back to Dollar Tree to get some cloches to experiment with, they only had four black rose ones left. I bought three and repurposed them, and now I have the perfect bookend for my personal bookshelf as well as some beautiful tabletop decor for events. If you love the cloches but want a different color rose (or a different flower), here's how I swapped mine out.
Materials:
* Dollar Tree rose cloche
*Artificial rose or other flower in a color of your choice
*Adhesive that works on plastic
Directions:
*Gently pull the lid of the cloche off of the base. The lid is glued down, but on all three that I repurposed, a little gentle force was all it took to separate the lid from the base. Too much force, and you might crack the plastic.
*Carefully remove the rose that is glued to the base. Again, I found this only required applying a little force.

*Remove the head of your artificial flower from its stem and glue the flower into the cloche.
*Place the lid back on the cloche and glue down if you wish. (I like to be able to reposition things if they shift, so I didn't glue my lids down, but this does mean I have to be careful when I move them and can't pick them up by the lid.)
